Xavier Thorpe paints a monster he keeps seeing in his dreams, long before the school admits there is one. That sentence alone could be his type profile.
He reads as an INFP. His inner world is huge and mostly private: values, moods, images. He does not talk about his feelings much, he paints them, and his drawings literally come to life when his power kicks in. The intuitive side shows in how he works: he senses the Hyde long before he can explain it, and he trusts the image more than the facts. When Wednesday arrives, he sees her as someone interesting rather than someone frightening, which tells you a lot about his values.
The four is just as clear. Fours feel fundamentally different from everyone, and they ache about it. Xavier is a dream psychic whose gift keeps him apart, the ex of the most popular girl in school, and a boy who would rather draw than talk. He carries his loneliness like a portfolio. When Wednesday engineers his arrest on suspicion of being the Hyde, his hurt comes out sharp and bitter, and yet he is the same boy who gave her a phone with his number already saved in it. That mix of wound and decency is very 4, with a 5 wing that keeps him guarded and watchful.
His arc is short, since he is away at Reichenbach Academy in season two and only a portrait of crows on a tombstone reaches Wednesday. In season one, though, he moves from a quiet admirer to someone who stands up for himself and refuses to help her after she engineers his arrest. A lot of growth for eight episodes. Then the phone he gave her ends the season buzzing with threats from an anonymous stalker, a very Xavier kind of irony. Even his kindest gestures arrive with a shadow attached.
Some fans argue ISFP, pointing to the hands-on art and how physical his gift is. Fair, but his paintings are visions, not sensory studies. He works from inner images and premonitions, which keeps him an INFP.

In relationships
Have you ever dated someone who gives you a sketch instead of a card? Xavier is that person. He shows interest through attention: he notices, he remembers, he quietly shows up. He also wants to be understood without having to explain himself, which is a lot to ask from anyone, let alone Wednesday Addams.
Wednesday is his crush and his frustration in equal measure. Bianca was his past, a relationship of two strong personalities that never quite meshed. Tyler, if he had been what he seemed, could have been a real friend: both of them carry a lot of hurt and a talent for hiding it.
