All ENFP characters · How MBTI works

Ask Enid Sinclair to describe her side of the dorm and she will need a minute, because there is a lot of it. Her side of the room is a riot of color. Then a girl in head-to-toe black moves in next to her and splits the window down the middle. Most people would sulk. Enid adopts her.

That instinct comes from the ENFP pairing of curiosity about people and a private moral compass. She sees who someone could become instead of who they are acting like right now, which is why she keeps inviting Wednesday to things Wednesday clearly hates. She reads a room fast, runs a gossip blog, and can tell you who is dating whom by lunch. Her values are quieter and much harder. She will be bubbly about almost anything, but when Wednesday keeps treating their friendship as an afterthought, Enid says exactly how much it hurt and does not take it back.

She fits a 7 with a 6 wing. Sevens chase fun because sitting still with pain feels dangerous, and Enid has pain to dodge: a werewolf who still cannot wolf out and a mother whose expectations weigh on her. The 6 wing explains the need for a crew, the anxiety that sneaks out under the jokes.

Then in the season one finale she finally transforms, just in time to fight Tyler’s Hyde and save her roommate. The late bloomer finally blooms, right when it counts. Season two raises the stakes. Isadora Capri warns her she may be an alpha, and that a full transformation could leave her stuck as a wolf. She chooses it anyway, under the full moon, to dig Wednesday out of a grave. The girl who ran from discomfort chooses the hardest possible thing on purpose.

ESFP is a popular read, given the fashion, the music and the drama. She does live loudly in the present. But watch where her energy goes: hidden potential, what a friendship could turn into, the person under the scowl. That is the intuitive side of the family, so ENFP it is.

Strengths

  • Makes strangers feel welcome in minutes
  • Sees the best in people who hide it
  • Brave when someone she loves is in danger
  • Keeps the mood light in dark places

Weak spots

  • Spreads gossip a little too freely
  • Takes rejection very personally
  • Avoids her own fears until they explode
  • Needs a lot of reassurance
  • Says yes to every plan, then panics

In relationships

Enid hugs first and asks questions never. She remembers your birthday, your coffee order and your ex's middle name, and she will bring all three up at the worst moment. When a friend shuts her out she does not go quiet. She gets louder, then hurt, then honest.

Wednesday is her obvious match, the cold to her warm, and somehow the friendship makes both of them braver. Eugene shares her soft heart and her stubborn streak. Gomez would adore her immediately, probably dance with her at a family dinner, and never once tell her to turn the music down.
