Obi-Wan Kenobi spends nineteen years in a hut on Tatooine, watching a boy grow up from a distance. No students, no Council, no war. Just a promise and the patience to keep it. If you want his type, start there: a man who chose duty so quietly that the boy’s own uncle wrote him off as a crazy old man.
I type him ISFJ. Introverted sensing leads: he trusts precedent, training and the way things have always been done. He cites the Code, follows orders he dislikes, and when Qui-Gon bends the rules for a boy from Tatooine, young Obi-Wan is the one frowning in the background. Extraverted feeling is the warm second layer. He keeps the peace in rooms full of egos, softens bad news with dry jokes, greets a droid general with a cheerful hello, and holds Anakin together through years of tantrums. Look at Mustafar. He does not want that fight. He begs, he warns, and when it is over he cannot finish the job. He leaves his brother burning on the shore, and his grief comes out as a list of what Anakin was supposed to be. That is a sensor’s grief: the plan, the promise, the way it should have gone.
It also makes him a 1 with a 2 wing. Ones live by a strict inner standard and feel every failure as personal. Obi-Wan blames himself for Anakin for the rest of his life, and he tells Luke a version of the truth that holds up only from a certain point of view, because the whole truth would make his own failure the center of the story. The 2 wing explains the gentleness, and why his final act is a gift: he raises his lightsaber in salute, lets Vader strike him down so Luke can escape, and becomes a voice that keeps guiding him.
The reasonable objection is INFJ, the usual pick for wise mentors, and old Ben does have a mystic air. But the prequels show his mind clearly, and it is concrete, procedural, careful and loyal to institutions far longer than an intuitive would stay. He finds a hidden clone army by tracing a poison dart and checking the archives. ISFJ.
Strengths

- Patient teacher and loyal friend
Weak spots

- Bends the truth to protect people
- Avoids confrontation with those he loves
In relationships
One habit sums him up: Obi-Wan says hello. To droids, to enemies, to General Grievous with a cheerful grin and four lightsabers pointed at him. He leads with manners and keeps the peace, and under the polish is a man who would follow his friends into fire and then apologize for the smoke.
He does best with people who appreciate steady loyalty and return it. Padmé shares his faith in duty and his worry about Anakin. Yoda gives him a sounding board who never needs things explained twice, and Luke gives him a second chance to teach better than he did the first time.
