Kasumi Miwa personality type: ISFJ

Most sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen fight for glory, revenge or the thrill of it. Kasumi Miwa fights for a paycheck. Her family is poor, she has two younger brothers, and jujutsu pays. That might be the most relatable motive in the entire series, and it tells you a lot about her type.

Miwa is an ISFJ, anchored in duty and the concrete needs of the people she loves. She is not chasing a grand ideal. She is chasing rent. She is warm, polite and eager to please. She goes starry-eyed the moment Gojo appears, she worries about her teammates, and she apologizes more than anyone at Kyoto Jujutsu High.

Her technique mirrors her. Simple Domain is a defensive, disciplined skill: she sets a small zone around herself and strikes whatever enters it with a quick sword draw. It rewards patience and precision over flash. Her anxiety runs the other way, imagining the worst outcome, then the one after that, and deciding she is the weak link before anyone else gets the chance.

As a Six with a Seven wing, she looks for security first. Sixes want a stable place in a dangerous world, and Miwa’s whole career is a safety net for her family. At the Kyoto event she splits from Kamo hoping for a moment in the spotlight and maybe a promotion. Instead she meets Maki, who is far stronger than Mai had claimed and walks off with her sword. Then a call comes in from Mechamaru’s phone, Inumaki is on the line, and one word puts her to sleep. Rough day. The Seven wing keeps her bubbly anyway.

Her biggest emotional moment arrives secondhand. Mechamaru, who betrayed the schools partly to protect her, leaves a final message through one of his communication devices. He asks her to be happy. She cries, and the girl who calls herself ordinary learns she mattered a great deal to someone. Some fans type her as a Two, since she is so eager to help. Fair. Still, her helping comes from worry, not from a need to be needed. She wants her family safe. That is a Six.
