Her first words to Percy are that he drools when he sleeps. No hello, no welcome to camp, just a correction delivered in front of other people. If you want Annabeth in one line, that is it: she spots the flaw first, says it out loud, and considers this a kindness.
She ran away from home at seven, fell in with Luke and Thalia, and has been planning for survival ever since. Her sharpest tool is a long-range pattern sense, the introverted intuition that sees where a situation is heading and works backward. At Aunty Em’s Gnome Emporium, Percy and Grover are charmed by a nice old lady while Annabeth works out she is Medusa. Paired with that is blunt, results-first logic. At the Gateway Arch she announces that she wants to be an architect and build something that lasts a thousand years. After the Titan war, she gets to redesign Olympus.
Her fatal flaw is hubris, and the Sirens show exactly what that means. Tied to the mast, she sees her parents together, Luke good again, and a Manhattan rebuilt to her own designs. Percy forgot to take her knife, so she cuts herself free and nearly swims to her death. That vision is pure type 1: the world, corrected. Ones carry a loud inner critic and a clear picture of how everything should be, and they get angry when reality refuses to cooperate. Most of her snapping at Percy lives in that gap between should and is.
She softens without going soft. She holds up the sky for Luke’s trap and comes out with a gray streak in her hair. She turns down Luke when he asks her to run away with him, and regrets how it went. She takes a knife meant for Percy’s weak spot, and at the very end she reaches Luke through Kronos with nothing but shared memory.
The obvious alternative is INTP, because she loves ideas and reads architecture books in Greek for fun. But an INTP explores for the joy of it, and Annabeth explores to win. The Disney+ series, with Leah Sava Jeffries, makes her disappearance the hook of season three, which adapts The Titan’s Curse, so the group’s planner becomes the one everybody has to find.

In relationships
Does Annabeth trust anyone fully? It takes a long time. Luke was her hero when she was seven, and losing him to Kronos taught her that loving someone does not make you right about them. Percy gets years of sarcasm, nicknames and eye rolls, and then she takes a knife for him. Her feelings show up in actions far more than in speeches.
She does best with people who match her nerve and accept her corrections without folding. Percy brings the improvisation she lacks, and he never pretends to be smarter than he is. Thalia is the big sister who knew her before the armour went on. Chiron is the steadiest adult in her life and treats her like family.
