A kind kid with absurd strength and the worst roommate imaginable.

Yuji Itadori’s grandfather spends his last moments telling him two things: you are strong, so help people, and make sure you die surrounded by them. Yuji treats that as an instruction manual. Hours later he swallows a rotting cursed finger so Megumi and two upperclassmen do not get torn apart at school. He does not stop to weigh it. Weighing things is not his first move.
That reflex is the core of a Two with a One wing. His sense of self rests on being needed by someone, and the One wing stands behind it as a strict conscience. In the last stretch of Shibuya he stops calling himself a hero and decides he is a cog, a part that exists to kill curses. That is a Two punishing himself with a One’s rulebook.
I type him ESFP because of how he solves problems: physically, instantly, with whatever is in reach. He throws a shot put across the field like it weighs nothing, and he lands Black Flash mid-fight because Todo shouts the right advice at the right second. Underneath the action runs a private moral core. Yuji has no interest in clan politics or the higher-ups’ rules. He cares whether a person gets a proper death, and he makes that call with his gut every time.
Living in the present has a price: the long view is his blind spot. Yuji is great at now and bad at later. He agrees to eat every finger and then be executed without thinking hard about what hosting Sukuna could cost. Shibuya answers that question for him. He wakes up to streets Sukuna has flattened while wearing his face, and the guilt nearly buries him.
His growth hurts to watch. With Junpei he learns that wanting to save someone is not enough. With Nanami and Nobara he learns that losing people does not pause the fight. By the time he faces Mahito with Todo at his side, he is no longer fighting to feel like a good person. He fights because someone has to, and he has decided it will be him.
Some fans type Yuji as ENFP, since he is open-minded and bonds with strangers in seconds. It is a decent case. Still, his values run deep while his first language is action, and that keeps him an ESFP.
Strengths
- Acts instantly when someone is in danger
- Makes friends with almost anyone
- Learns new skills by doing them
- Owns his mistakes, even unbearable ones
Weak spots
- Rarely thinks two steps ahead
- Carries guilt like a second job
- Treats his own life as expendable
In relationships
Picture Yuji at a table in Tokyo with Nobara roasting him and Megumi pretending not to laugh. He makes friends the way other people breathe: with Megumi over a shared brush with death, with Nobara over loud jokes and street food, and with Todo over one answer about his type of woman. He shows love by showing up, and he takes it personally when he cannot protect someone.
Conflict rarely starts with him. He would rather apologize first and save his anger for curses. His best matches are steady people who can tell him to rest: Megumi, who keeps him grounded, Nobara, who keeps him honest, and Nanami, the adult who treated him like a kid worth protecting.
