T’Challa’s biggest fight is not with Killmonger. It is a conversation on the ancestral plane, standing in front of his father and the kings before him, telling them they were wrong. For a man who spent his life honoring tradition, that is braver than any duel at the waterfall.
Enneagram Nine with a One wing, and it shows in his temperament. Nines want harmony and fear the kind of conflict that splits the people they love. T’Challa does not raise his voice, does not boast, and looks for a third way over and over. In Civil War he stops Zemo from taking his own life and refuses to let vengeance consume him too. In Black Panther he offers Killmonger a chance to be healed, and Killmonger turns it down. The One wing gives him the steel underneath: a clear sense that Wakanda owes the world something.
He is an INFJ, with a steady, long-range sense of what a moment means. In Civil War he follows Zemo to Siberia, hears the man who killed his father explain why, and sees in a few seconds where his own rage is heading. Later he looks past Wakanda’s isolation to what his country could become. In the challenge fight at the waterfall he begs M’Baku to yield instead of die, because his people need him.
The physical moment is where he slips. His hunt for Bucky in Civil War is grief turned into raw pursuit, the only stretch where we see him chase instead of think. So his growth is a Nine learning that peace sometimes requires disruption. At the end of Black Panther he opens an outreach center in Oakland and stands before the United Nations to reveal what Wakanda has hidden for centuries. He chooses the harder kind of peace.
A strong case says he is a One, with his duty, discipline and moral clarity. I weighed it seriously. Still, Ones push and correct, and T’Challa mostly listens, absorbs and then moves gently. His instinct in a fight is to end it rather than to win the argument.

In relationships
Shuri roasts him in front of his own staff and he lets her. That is T'Challa: quiet devotion. He flies into a mission to bring Nakia home for his coronation while respecting that her work matters, and listens to his mother more than any king strictly needs to. He leads his family the way he leads a nation: patiently.
Conflict with T'Challa is respectful but firm. He hears you out, considers it, and rarely needs to repeat himself. His best matches share his sense of duty: Steve Rogers, a fellow soldier of conscience, Stephen Strange, another leader who sees further than most, and Bruce Banner, who would happily spend a week in Shuri's lab.
